Stuart Burch leads the academic components of the MA in Museum and Heritage Management and the MA in Public History and Heritage Management, including thesis writing and research. He is also the Examinations Officer for the two programmes. Stuart’s teaching focuses on museums, collecting and display; the form and function of art galleries; the study of urban space and public art.
- An associate member of the School of Slavonic, Central and East European Studies at the University of Glasgow and a participant in the UK Baltic Research Group.
- Associate of the Museums Association.
- Contributes regularly to the Museums Journal as an exhibition reviewer and commentator.
- Peer reviewer for The International Journal of Heritage Studies, Europe-Asia Studies and Journal of Baltic Studies.
